The Manifestation Of The Sons; INTRODUCTION

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." (John 3:6).

This scripture talked about two birth, one by the flesh which is our physical body, and the other by the Spirit which is also spirit. We understand that we are made of spirit, soul and body. And as Christians our body is flesh, looking from that scripture we can tell where our bodies came from, it is born of the flesh. But what of our spirits? The new birth in Christianity is that of the Spirit, it is spirit. Hence, our regenerated spirits as Christians is born of the Spirit of God, it is the sons of God. It is the sons that must manifest.

"For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body." (Rom 8:19-23).

This scripture talks about the manifestation of the sons, and it also talks about the redemption of our body. Somehow it has indicated that the sons is different from our body, and that the manifestation of the sons will not only result to the redemption of creation but also the redemption of our body. Notice that it uses singular 'our body', rather than 'our bodies'. It is talking about the physical bodies of all those who has the son living in them, joined together as one collective body, one man. Just as husband and wife joined together becomes one body, so does all the believers joined together is one man, one body.

"having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity." (Eph 2:15-16).

One man, one body, and the sons in this body must manifest. The verses also mentioned, "glorious liberty of the children of God". We know that the children of God is that which is born of God, it is our spirits that is born of God. Now it says, these children of God (our spirits) must enter into a glorious liberty, it must break out of this body and manifest. Somewhat indicating that the body is some kind of shell that the sons must break out of in liberty, for the sake of manifesting.

"It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory."" (1Cor 52-54).

Our body will break into a new body, a spiritual body, and there the sons will manifest in bodily form. This body will be consumed by the life of the sons and will burst forth into a spiritual body, a redeemed body. The scripture says it will happen in the twinkling of an eye, at the sounding of the trumpet — the sons will find full expression as life consumes this dead body (this one inherited from Adam, the fallen man). Our dead body will be swallowed up by life, resulting to a spiritual body. But in-between the time the body gets transformed and now as the sons struggle for freedom, are series of sparks of glory breaking forth out of the progressive cracks of the shell (the body) that contains the sons. This outlet of glory can be seen all over the history of the Church. And at this final days where the cracks are more, there will be more glory let out to mark the eve of the manifestation of the sons.

"‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts." (Hag 2:9).

There is a great glory coming as the cracks become more pronounce. In these last days we would see more of the glory of the sons as they push for manifestation. Those who would not be harden, who will give way for the Lord will see this greater glory manifesting through them as we come closer to that final day. Oh, that our eyes may be open to see the sons in us pushing like chicks trying to hatch, trying to come out into the outside world and find expression. Yes, the sons are seeking to manifest, where are who are awaken to see these glorious beings pushing to find expression? Where are those who are groaning with the Spirit and aligning themselves to his in-working to conform us and bring about the manifestation of the sons? For these ones shall be the glory of the bride in these last days.
