Living By The Indwelling Christ

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" (Col 1:27).
Christ lives in you, this is true of anyone who is a member of the Church. Christianity is all about the Christ living in us. This indwelling Christ desire to express himself through us. Christ must be expressed through us, for this is the normal Christian life, anything apart from this is not Christianity at all. The truth is that many of us are far below normal Christianity. Normal Christianity is not living by some doctrine but living by Christ. Paul simply defined the normal Christian life when he said;
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:" (Gal 2:20)
Do you think the Church is at the state she suppose to be? Haven't you sense some kind of emptiness in your Christian life? Have you ever wonder if there is more in the Christian life that what you are not experiencing? Of cause there is more that you can never experience until you start living by the indwelling Christ. If you desire true Christian then you would desire to live by the indwelling Christ. Nobody live by the indwelling Christ accidentally, you must desire it to a point of desperation.
"When you come looking for me, you'll find me. "Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed." (Jer 29:13)
Christ is in us and he wants to live through us but we are too busy with ourselves that all we see and do is ourselves. Many Christians have not been able to see Christ in them, they've become deaden to the reality of the indwelling Christ. Yes they know it by doctrine but they've never touch the reality. Until we start seeing the Christ in us we can't express him. When our eyes is filled with so many things he remains hidden to us, we won't be able to sense him trying to express himself through us and we would never be aware of the reality of the indwelling Christ. We must seek him desperately and he would reveal himself. Until expressing him become our greatest desire we won't be able to express him or even notice him living in us.
Our desire to see him must rise about every other desire. When seeing him becomes our greatest desire then we would be able to notice him no matter how busy and occupied we are. In the midst of our busy-ness we would notice that the Christ in us is alive and he wants to do this or that through us. This is a revelation of the risen Christ, one that we must seek - he is alive in us. But it is not enough to notice Christ alive in us, we must seek to express him. Now this takes dying to self, for we can only express him in the depth of utter submission and by the revelation of our being crucified in him. It takes a crucified life to express the indwelling Christ. Only those who have entered into the fellowship of his suffering and have their soul crush onto death, stripped of life and brought onto utter emptiness that can really express the indwelling Christ.
It takes great love to face the cross with boldness. Those who truly desire God would do anything for Him. If the Father desire that we live by His beloved Son then we would do it even if it means suffering and dying on the cross - remember Christ did the same for us. This is the normal Christian life and God wants true Christians on earth. So who care enough to strive to live by the indwelling Christ?
