Increase In Knowledge (2); The Gift Men

Someone moves from a point where he doesn't hear God's voice, to a point where he is getting word of knowledge, and he didn’t pay attention to the process, all he knows is that he has grown. When he is asked how he got this ability to supernatural know things, his explanation is, "Well, it is God, it is a gift of the Spirit, God just gave it to me." Knowledge can never increase if we continue like this.

There was something this man did and there were process that took place. It is like assembling a car together and saying, "Hey, it is God, the car just appeared in front of me, it's a gift from God". You were not conscious of the process by which the Holy Spirit took you and began to make you do certain things as he himself is joining in the work of assembling that car.

You didn't see all that happen because it was like you were enchanted through out the process, you were intoxicated and drunk. Yes, that is the effect of the Holy Spirit, and that is why he is often called the wine. When he is working with you, you feel so intoxicated that you may not be able to notice everything that was happening at that moment.

But the truth is that it is not you that is intoxicated, it is your flesh. The real you—your spirit—is very alert to the process. This is why we must learn to shift our consciousness from the flesh to the spirit, because only then would we be able to observe and study the process. And until we are able to study the process, we cannot effectively pass on that knowledge.

When we are able to study the process then knowledge can be accumulated, passed down, examined, re-examined, tested, and applied. Yes, knowledge will increase, and then we would begin to attain proficiency and see consistent results.

Sometimes the Holy Spirit comes and moves someone to do things and attain certain dimensions of God, but he may not do that for others. Like the illusion I gave, the Holy Spirit moves you and cause you to assemble a car ("assemble a car" is a picture representing just anything that can be drawn out of the fullness of Christ, just as cars were made out of the materials on earth). He may not do the same for others.

But if you were alert enough in the spirit to carefully observed all that has happened, then you will acquire the knowledge of how to assemble a car, and then you will be able to pass on that know. This is the work that the gifted men should be doing, this is what they were designed for.

"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip Gods people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ." (Eph 4:11-12).

That scripture didn't say Christ gave the Church gift of prophesying, gift of apostling, gift of evangelizing, and gift of pastoring and teaching. No, it says the gift to the Church is the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, pastors and teachers. This means that God takes a man, and then supernatural cause him to assemble a car ("assemble a car" being a picture representing just anything that can be drawn out of the fullness of Christ). This itself is a gift, it is a precious thing that God does gracious. Because normally we are to discover and learn these things ourselves. But out of the goodness of His heart, God decides to help out so that our learning process can be enhanced.

That is why it is the Holy Spirit (the Helper) that does this. He is sent to HELP our learning process, and he does this by moving the man and joining with the man (doing it in the man and with the man) to assemble the car. But sadly the man is so overwhelmed by the intoxicating effect of the Holy Spirit that he does not notice what has just happened.

If he had shift his awareness and consciousness to the spirit, then he would be able to observe what the Holy Spirit was doing through him and with him. Then he would know which part of the assembling of the car is meant for man to do and which is solely a work of the Holy Spirit, for this is a fellowship. We are called into the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Now once he is able to gather this knowledge, he becomes a gift to the body of Christ, teaching and equipping every believer to assemble cars—to move in the prophetic, move supernaturally in evangelizing, be able to grow in knowledge and teach it, and become apostolic and pastoral. These men are gifts to the body of Christ to cause a radical growth into the fullness of Christ; "until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Eph 4:13).

Note: The man must be soaked in scripture so that his interpretation of what he observes in Christ with the Spirit would be in accordance with scripture.
