Breaking The Power Of Death Through Reconciliation Of Knowledge (1)

When God told Adam that he shall die when he eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, "death" there means to separate from the Life (God/Christ) and become an independent thing. This is what the devil has always been after; to cause all things to become separated from God the source of Life. Once they become separated from the Life they become subjected to the power of death, and the devil rules by the power of death.

“... that through death He [Christ] might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil.” (Heb 2:14 NASB).

The devil is working very hard to extend his power, and he does this by trying to separate *all things* from God and making them independent—a thing in themselves. Soon the study of lion became the study of a thing called lion rather than the study of the expression of Christ that is encoding in the entity called lion. The study of the sun has become the study of an independent entity, rather than an expression that speaks of a dimension of God.

"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge." (Psa 19:1-2).

The study of created things supposed to be about discovering what knowledge they are speaking forth about God. No, they are not meant to be studied simply to get the knowledge of what they are (as if they are a thing in themselves—independent), but to get the knowledge of what they speak of. What is that dimension in God that the eagle speaks of? Answering that question should be why we study eagle. We are not studying eagle just to know about eagle.

The knowledge of the thing is not our end, because they are not things in themselves. We are rather trying to get the knowledge of the thing in order to properly understand what that thing speaks of about God. Hence, the knowledge of God is our end. So when we get to the knowledge of the thing, we keep pressing till we get to our final end which is the knowledge of God. Sadly, the devil has taken over science and use it as an instrument to develop the culture of studying things as independent of God.

Anything independent of God is dead. So when you take a thing and begin to study it as something separate and independent of God, then you are studying a dead thing, and the knowledge that such study would produce is dead knowledge. Knowledge is how we function; everything we do is based on the knowledge we have. You can only do what you know, you can't do what you don't knowledge. But if the knowledge you have is dead, then everything you do would be dead.

By producing more dead knowledge, the devil is birthing more dead works in us. Hereby, extending the power of death and making himself more powerful. More death leads to more power for the devil, because he rules by the power of death. Sadly we Christians have adopted science method of studying things as separate entities, independent of God. I once watched a pastor preaching about holiness, but only mentioned Jesus once, and that was during the closing prayer of the sermon.

We preach and teach about things as if they are independent of God, hereby producing more dead knowledge and giving the devil more power. Unknowingly we are empowering the kingdom of darkness. The devil is already doing a great job producing more death in this world, why should we help him. No, what we are called to do is to destroy the work of the devil. And we are to do this through the ministry of reconciliation. Yes, we are to reconcile those things that has been separated from God and subject to the power of death. By doing this we are weakening the power of death and disarming the devil.

"And God purposed that through him [Christ] to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." (Col 1:20)

When I first saw this scripture "reconcile all things to Himself", I was shocked. What else needs to be reconciled other than man? Yet this scripture say His goal is to reconcile all things both in heaven and on earth. It is not enough that man is reconciled to God, all things also must be reconciled to God.

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;" (2Cor 5:18).

The devil is so busy separating *all things* from God. Our mission is to reconcile all things back to God. No, we are not called to further separate things from God. We are to consciously try to reconnect things back to God. In relation to spiritual knowledge, this means we are to consciously reconcile our many Christians topic back to God. Let the concept "holiness" not just be able attaining certain standard as described by men, but let it be about expressing and manifesting the God who is our holiness in Christ.

We are to reconcile all these concepts back to there original state in God. Grace, faith, spiritual warfare, gifts of the Spirit, prosperity, wisdom, power, deliverance, prayer, holiness, righteousness and etc. they are not things in themselves, they are not independent of God, they are not concepts subjected to man's interpretation. No they are expressions of different dimensions of God, and we must reconcile them back to there rightful place *in God.* They are all part of Christ the knowledge of God. They are one with him, they cannot exist apart from him.

If you go to my blog you will notice that when I want to write about any Christian topic I always start with "Christ is..." When writing about Grace I start with "Christ is Grace", if it is wisdom I start with, "Christ is our wisdom", if prophecy or the prophetic, I start with "Christ is prophecy, the prophet and the prophetic". Even when I was writing about pastor, I started with, "Christ is the Pastor". I am consciously trying to reconcile them to their place in Christ. I do not point to them as an independent thing, but I point to them in Christ. I am always like, *"this is Christ, and this is where this thing is in Christ"," be it holiness, faith, grace, power and so on.

This is the work we are called to do—to disarm the devil, to break the power of death, by reconciling all things back to God in Christ. This is a very important mission that shouldn't be taken likely because the battle between light and darkness is hanging on this very thing. Everything we do is based on the knowledge we have, and if the knowledge we have is dead then the things we do would be dead, and the kingdom of darkness is empowered.

The level by which a concept (or knowledge) is reconciled to God in Christ, is the level of life that thing would have. So if a knowledge is not completely reconciled to God, and it has some measure of death in it, then that knowledge would cause us to produce works that has that same measure of death. Oh, there is just so much that I can't state in one article. But I hope you have gotten the point by now. I hope you've understand the severity of the matter. We must reconcile our knowledge back to God in Christ.
